Hey, what’s this software stuff doing here: Having a knack for computers, I spent 7 or so years working in IT as a consultant. My creative side helped me in finding ways to make paper processes work better and more efficiently on the computer. I built stuff that Fortune 500 Companies used. When steady work became harder to find, I became a stay-at-home dad (best job ever!) and part time nursing student. I’m now an RN since 2007, and found that I enjoy using technology to help me provide care to people. I recently had the creative juices start flowing again. The movie below is a big file, so it may take a little while to load. It’s an introduction to the software I recently created that allows for the electronic tracking and management of healthcare information pertaining to individuals that reside in group home environments.
